- All candidates must check and confirm that they chose Ekiti State University (EKSU) as their first choice of institution.
- Candidates who did not choose the university as their first choice of preferred institution can apply after they have changed institutions through JAMB.
- Candidates must score 160 and above in JAMB to be eligible for admission. Check the EKSU cut-off mark for all courses to know the specific cut-off mark for your course.
- All candidates must have the required O’level credits (WAEC, NECO, GCE) within two sittings. These grades must include mathematics and English.
- Candidates must be up to the age of 16 years to be eligible for post UTME examination.

Candidates applying for admission through Direct Entry (DE) at Ekiti State University (EKSU) must meet the following criteria
- A minimum of 5 credits in relevant subjects, achieved in not more than two sittings.
- A’ Level/IJMB passes in two subjects related to the chosen field of study.
- JUPEB/A’ Level passes in related subjects are also acceptable.
- A minimum Merit Pass is required for certificates such as NCE, ND, and other advanced-level qualifications.
- Candidates with a Degree (First Class or Second Class Upper) in a related field are eligible for Direct Entry admission.
- Direct Entry candidates must purchase the EKSU Direct Entry form through both JAMB and the EKSU portal.
How To Apply For EKSU Post UTME
- Visit eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng
- Click on ‘ADMISSION’, you will be directed to the Online application portal.
- ‘Sign up’ by providing all the required details to create an account. MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE YOUR ACTIVE EMAIL AND PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER. A verification mail will be sent to you.
- After successful sign up, click LOGIN to log on to your dashboard. Applicants are to login using their CORRECT Email as ‘username’ and enter password as provided while signing up.
- On your dashboard, select the type of application; SANDWICH FULL TIME (OR CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMME) 2022/2023, click on ‘APPLY’
- The next page requires PAYMENT FOR THE SANDWICH FORM (OR CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMME), click on ‘PAY NOW’ to redirect you for payment.
- On successful payment, the application form will be opened. Attach your “I x I” coloured passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only on the form page.
- Upload details of your O’level result(s) obtained at not more than two (2) sittings at the following examinations; WAEC/SSCE, NECO and NABTEB.
- After undergoing the above procedure, preview, confirm and submit it. Print out the completed screening form which is to be submitted at Irasa via Ekiti State University.
